Reader Reviews

Here's what some of our readers have to say about Sentence Diagramming: A Step-by-Step Guide to Learning Grammar Through Diagramming.

"As a 50-year-old I was a little reluctant to purchase this book. I must have slept through all lessons on diagramming sentences because I didn't have a clue. I've gone through the book once and will go through it again but it has been a God send. Did I mention I am a writer. Great, simple, easy-to-follow instruction; I loved this book."

"Not only is this book an outstanding source for learning to diagram sentences, but equally impressive and easy to understand is the grammar tutorial that preceeds every unit. This is the single best grammar book I have ever used and will continue to use as a guide and source. Diagramming sentences should be reinserted into every school's curriculum as a way of learning grammar; it promotes active learning, is fun, hands-on, and very effective. Take my word for it, if you enjoy grammar, or have a need to learn it or brush up on your skills, this is the book."

"This book does an excellent job of walking the student through the parts and definitions of a basic sentence to using these parts in understanding and solving grammar and punctuation problems. The value of the book is that after the authors define a sentence concept, they then show how to use this concept to solve a sentence problem."
